The 20th of November CEJI - A Jewish Contribution to an Inclusive Europe organized the second "stop" of the Diversity Tour in Budapest.

The thematic seminar, realized in partnership with the Haver Informal Jewish Educational Public Benefit Foundation, Marom Club Association and the Federation of Hungarian Jewish Communities, was focused on topics related to Judaism, gender and sexuality with a specific attention to the role of Jewish Communities in reconciling inner diversities.

The seminar, shaped in conformity with CEJI's diversity approach, followed an exact  sequence of pedagogical concepts: building the foundation, identity, cultural awareness, examining prejudices and discrimination, confronting prejudices and discrimination, social action, closing and evaluation.

A various group took part in the interactive workshop, bringing different ideas and inputs to the discussion ended up in the braing storming activity, during which participants produced an high quality discourse about the most productive ways to address the diversity issues in Hungarian Jewish communities.

The informal atmosphere and the non-formal education approach enabled the participants to share freely about the opportunities as well as the frustrations they encounter in the Jewish Community.
